My name is Hashakimana Alex Promise, 45years old. I'm a Project Manager at Ripples of Change Uganda and a professional surveyor. While my profession has equipped me with technical skills in planning and problem-solving, my true passion lies in serving people and making a difference where it matters most. Living and working within my community has allowed me to witness both the struggles and the strength of the people around me. I have seen families face challenges in accessing basic needs, yet remain resilient and hopeful. These experiences have deeply shaped my purpose and inspired me to be part of something greater than myself. Ripples of Change Uganda has given me the opportunity to turn that passion into action. It is more than an organisation to me — it is a platform to uplift lives, restore dignity, and bring hope to communities that need it most. Being part of this work is not just a role I hold, but a responsibility I carry with pride and commitment. Through my role, I am actively involved in engaging with communities, supporting projects on the ground, and ensuring that every initiative we undertake creates lasting and meaningful impact.
