Braid-athon (2025)

We hosted a Braid-athon fundraiser in 2025 where three African women joined Carly Nzvimbo to braid children’s hair in preparation for the upcoming WDNA Netball Carnival. The event provided children with the chance to get their hair professionally braided for their netball games while supporting something meaningful beyond the court.

All proceeds from the Braid-athon went directly towards building rainwater tanks in Kisoro, helping provide access to clean, safe water for communities in need.
