My name is Carly Nzvimbo, and I am a mother of three beautiful children, a secondary school educator, and a passionate netball player. I have a long-standing connection to Uganda spanning over 20 years of travel, during which I have witnessed firsthand the
daily challenges many communities face in accessing clean water, food, shelter, and education. These experiences shaped my deep commitment to creating practical,
impactful and lasting changes in Uganda.
My involvement in netball has also played a key role in the development of Ripples of
Change Uganda, with many fundraising initiatives emerging through my sporting and
wider community networks. I founded Ripples of Change Uganda in 2024 and have since
worked informally in this space, building on three years of hands-on community
engagement and project delivery. In 2026, the organisation became formally registered in
Australia, which was a significant and exciting milestone.
I lead the organisation’s governance, strategy, fundraising, and project development, while
maintaining direct relationships with local partners in Uganda. I also deeply value the
perspectives and input of my Board of Directors Sasha and Kelly, as well as my Project
Managers Promise and Edson in Uganda, whose guidance and support are an important
part of how the organisation grows and operates.
